Welcome to the official website of the USA Wheelchair Softball (also known as the National Wheelchair Softball Association (NWSA)).  USA Wheelchair Softball (USAWS) is the official governing body for competitive wheelchair softball in the United States and around the world.    USAWS  governs over forty adult and junior teams of men, women, boys, and girls of all ages in the United States, and assists teams in other countries including Japan, Ghana, and Korea.

  • Aug 3 - 4: Junior Wheelchair Softball World Series (Junior Division), Omaha, NE
  • Aug 15 - 17: Wheelchair Softball World Series (Senior Division), Elkhorn (Omaha), NE

2023 USA Wheelchair Softball World Series Results


Josh Maier appointed Assistant Commissioner of USA Junior Wheelchair Softball

Josh Maier has been appointed as the Assistant Commissioner of USA Junior Wheelchair Softball by Commissioner Keith Wallace. In his new role, Josh will focus on key priorities such as the creation of junior wheelchair softball teams nationwide, providing support to existing teams, organizing educational how-to-play clinics, facilitating tournament development, and overseeing the annual USA Junior Wheelchair Softball World Series.
 
Josh brings a wealth of experience to the position, actively participating in wheelchair softball for 16 years across both junior and adult divisions with the Nebraska Barons. Additionally, he has represented Team USA Wheelchair Softball three times. His impressive accomplishments include five USA Wheelchair Softball World Series championships, five USA Junior Wheelchair Softball championships, and multiple All-Tournament selections in both adult and junior divisions at the USA World Series. Josh has earned the title of Most Valuable Player in both adult and junior categories.
