2024 IWSWS Awards social celebration & dinner

  • Saturday, August 17, 6:30 pm
  • Catered dinner at 6:30 pm at the tournament site Hospitality tent
  • Dinner Costs $8 (Nebraska Barons will subsidize the remaining dinner cost). Tickets must be purchased in advance
  • Menu: Grilled (on-site) chicken breasts and hamburgers, Bacon Ranch Potato Salad, White Cheddar Mac & Cheese, baked beans, chips, soda & water. Catered by Hy-Vee Grocery Stores
  • Anyone can also bring their own food and drink and participate in the social activities.
  • At 7:15, an awards program will feature all-tournament team announcements, Hall of Fame inductions, team trophy presentations, music, and more. 
  • Anyone can attend the Awards presentations WITHOUT attending/buying the catered dinner.  
  • Following that will be DJ music and social time
  • BYOB and cocktails

Two groups of hotels are shown, all 10-15 miles from the site of the 2024 IWSWS.  One group of hotels is on Omaha's west side (12 miles west of the fields), and the other group of hotels is in Fremont, NE (11 miles east of the hotels) .

Event room rates and blocks  have been established at some hotels, and they are held and discounted until July 15. However, the availability of rooms available for the event is limited. First come, first served!  If there are not enough rooms in the block at the event pricing, ask the hotel if they would extend the pricing for the additional rooms you may need. 

There are also many hotels throughout Omaha that could be used, although they would be further away from the tournament site.
