National Wheelchair Softball Tournament

The National Wheelchair Softball Tournament (NWSA) is held every year at different locations throughout the country. In the tournament's 29-year history, there have been many dynasties as well a gradual increase in the level of competition and number of teams participating.

Today, the NWST brings more than just competition for national title, it brings the entire wheelchair softball community together to showcase their talents in a new city.

 


St. Paul Saints Host 31st NWST in St. Paul, Minn.

The 2006 National Champions St. Paul Saints Wheelchair Softball team hosted the 2007 NWST on August 23-25, 2007 in St. Paul, Minnesota.

 

RIC Cubs Host 30th NWST in Chicago

The 2005 national champions RIC Cubs played host for the 30th NWST in the great city of Chicago. The tournament took place August 9-13, 2006.

National Wheelchair Softball Tournament Champions

The St. Paul Saints took home the 2006 national title and the 30th National Wheelchair Softball Tournament which took place in Chicago.

 

2005 National Wheelchair Softball Tournament

The 2005 NWST was hosted in the city of Columbus, Ohio under the direction of John Wall and Jerry Jones. It was the second time in four years the city host this annual competition. For more information click here

NWST All-Tournament Selections

Since the first national tournament, the NWSA has kept track of all the national tournament award recipients and all tournament selections.  In 1996, the NWSA began to honor teams in the consolation bracket and dubbed it Division II.
